High school student sees day in the life of a flight instructor

Shasta High School junior Hannah Huggard talks about her plans to become a pilot with Lead Flight Instructor Ashley Snider.  Hannah is one of 46 students from the high school who participated in a a Job Shadow event, organized by the Redding Rotary. The students spent part of a day with professionals in various industries to learn more about possible career and job options. Hannah visited IASCO Flight Training to see what a day in the life of a flight instructor looks like and to find out more about pursuing her dream of becoming a professional pilot. She did a flight in one of the flight training devices (see the photo gallery) and sat in the back of a Cessna 172 to observe an actual instructional flight.
